Job Description

As manager of the Technology Evolution Team at Olo, you’ll lead a small but powerful team tasked with cross-cutting projects to evolve our architecture to scale to 10x and beyond in a predictable, secure, and reliable way. You’ll report to our VP of Engineering and work closely with our CTO, collaborating closely with all engineering teams. As part of the Technology Evolution team you will play a significant and visible role in helping us scale one of the most advanced food ordering platforms in the market.

This is a full-time position. Candidates may work at Olo’s headquarters in New York City’s Financial District, or remotely from anywhere in the U.S. In fact, more than 75% of our engineering team is remote!

What You'll Be Doing

Leading complex software engineering projects involving multiple teams other than your own.
Working in large-scale, distributed, resilient systems.
Researching and spiking uses of new technologies, tools, and processes.
Upgrading libraries and implementing cross-team code changes; finding and fixing problems.

What We'll Expect From You

Professional experience with the following technologies: SQL Server, Kafka, Redis, C# or F#, .NET, AWS
A demonstrated history of working with sensitive data
Previous experience managing product-focused software teams

Olo is a mobile and online food ordering platform that allows customers to order food from online menus and prepay from their mobile or desktop device.
