POSITION SUMMARY:Reporting to the director of Key Accounts Engineering Manager, the Engineering Manager will supervise the Applications Engineering Department in designing concrete anchorage and connections, bridge deck and wall forms, tilt-up construction and erections, and reinforcing steel splicing techniques and methods.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Provide leadership of technical support team for sales and external customers.
- Manages DSC relationship with specification agencies.
- Maintain and upgrade engineering programs.
- Safeguard DSC's interests in various code development organizations.
CRITICAL COMPETENCIES:- Understands concrete construction, specifically Tilt up, Precast, bridgework and rebar fabrications.

QUALIFICATIONS:- Excellent English communication skills.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:- Bachelor's degree in civil or Structural Engineering, master's degree in engineering preferred.
- Professional Engineering License.
- Excellent technical, conceptual and engineering economics skills.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:- At least seven years in increasingly complex problem solving/troubleshooting hands-on position.
- Two years' supervisory experience.
- Ability to work within multi-disciplinary team and to facilitate team efforts to accomplish goals successfully.
- Ability to read and understand engineering, architectural and structural drawings and familiarity with CAD system used in application/product engineering (AutoCAD and SolidWorks preferred).
- Knowledge of Building Codes and Standards.
