Growing large equipment manufacturer is looking for a strong Engineering Manager to join their team.
Manage the EngineeringDepartment of approximately 30 people of an Engineered Products (Rotating Equipment) operation. Operations include design, drawing preparation, Fluid Flow, Stress, Thermodynamic Analysis, Control Logic Manufacturing support, Test laboratory for both R&D and Production, and post delivery support.
Education and Background:
BS in Mechanical or IndustrialEngineering
Minimum 5years' experiencewithmechanical engineered products
Minimum 5years' experience in supervising technical personnel
Excellent people skills with the ability to manage and motivate technical personnel.
The ability to take moderate complex programs and break down the Engineering effort by tasks and disciplines.
Have a knack for designing and managing the Work Flow to improve productivity of the department and the Company as a whole.
The ability to schedule tasks and to meet budget and time targets.
Recruit talent to build up the departments capabilities.
Plan and supervise training activities to enhance performance and growth path of staff.
Ability to work closelywithProduct Line Technology Managers to effectively implement technical policies and provide over site reviews on a timely basis.
Configure and standardize documentation including 3D models, shop drawings, calculation files, test plans, and product manuals.
HAZOP results and customer interface minutes.
Ability to manage and develop remote (India for instance) engineering resources.
