As an Engineering Manager at CareRev you will be responsible for managing the people on three product delivery and/or data engineering teams (~15-20 total people). You will work closely with individuals to help them achieve their absolute best at CareRev. You will solicit feedback, assess it, and together with the individuals you manage help put together a program of high achievement and stellar career growth. You will work to hire people for the teams you manage. You will hire for empty roles and/or hire to balance teams strengths/weaknesses. You will work with other Engineering Managers to achieve cross team objectives and to accommodate moving resources to/from another team. You will work cross company to assist with achieving team objectives and help educate about technical concepts being worked on by the teams you're embedded with. While you may code and have some coding projects to keep your skills sharp the projects you work on won't be core product team deliverables and won't ever trump people oriented work.
