Integrates complex systems containing specialized software, commercial applications and embedded operating systems. Configures, tests and trouble shootsWindows and Linux based systems in a clustered environment. Conducts performance testing to identify bottlenecks and architectural issues affecting overall system performance and resourceutilization. Coordinates with hardware and software vendors. Coinducts ground and flight test of ISR systems. Uses expertise to identify,isolate, and resolve challenging technical issues. Develops and manages requirement documents in a DOORSdatabase. Provides technical oversight and review support to development groups during product design and development. Develops test plans, procedures then execute during test and integration phases of the project. Continues to interface with customer during development and test phases to insure customer requirements are being met. Provides OCONUS deployments for prototype testing, production support, and sell off of assigned subsystems. Works with management to develop and adhere to schedules and budgetsrequired to accomplish assigned work. Provides regular status updates for ongoing work efforts to keep management and customer informed. Candidate must be willing to work a flexible jobschedule to include off-shift work and occasional overtime.

Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in a technical field (EE, CE, SC, Math, Physics, etc.) and five (5) years relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The successful candidate must have experience in a Systems Engineering role. Must have experience with ISR systems. Previous experience as a RC-135 Airborne Systems Engineer or Flightline Maintenance Technician is highly desirable. Experience troubleshooting network issues, processor BIOS issues, network boot issues, and network attached storage issues is desirable. Experience with troubleshooting scripting is also desirable. Must be able to read and understand engineering/aero documents and drawings. Must be able to pass an FAA Class III flight physical. Good verbal and written communications skills are essential. On aircraft, testing and troubleshooting experience is preferred.
