Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems is seeking a Mission Control System (MCS) Software Tester that will be based the Northrop Grumman Grand Sky facility, supporting the Global Hawk Program. The successful candidate will perform the following functions: The successful candidate will perform the following:
- Obtain monthly software installations from San Diego, CA
- Coordinate installations of MCS installations at the Grand Sky facility with the MCS Administrator
- Coordinate software changes with the engineering team in San Diego, CA
- Perform software regression testing on the MCS software, and provide feedback to the software development team in San Diego
A Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM related field (Computer Science/Engineering or related technical field) is required.
At least 4 years of experience in software development applications is required.
The candidate must be familiar with all phases of the software development life cycle.
Ability to obtain and hold a Secret Security clearance.
Advanced degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
Green or Black BeltLean / Six Sigma training and experience is a plus
Experience with executing Agile Software Development is a plus
Relevant experience from the Defense and/or Aerospace industry is preferred.
Active Secret or higher Security Clearance is preferred
