Join the Intelligent Systems Division and develop hardware/software solutions (including sensor fusion and control systems) for autonomous/automated/unmanned vehicle, mobile robotic, and intelligent vehicle systems. Perform in all phases of the development lifecycle, including requirements definition, hardware/software/systems design, implementation, testing, and integration. Initiate advanced research and development programs, interact with clients, and make technical presentations. Requires a BS degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science with at least 1 year of academic research and/or internship experience. 3.25 GPA is required. MS and PhD candidates must have completed graduate work related to autonomous/automated vehicles or robotics in the unmanned ground (UGV), sea (USV), or air (UAS) domains. Strong software skills required. Linux and various PC operating systems experience required. C++ development experience required. Robot Operating System (ROS) experience preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well individually or as a member of a project team is required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. A valid/clear driver's license is required.
