Job Description:

Major Job Duties Responsibilities: Responsible for improving dealer satisfaction with our products by providing timely and accurate responses to technical inquiries via the Technical Help Desk (telephone), and associated emails. 

Provide dealers technical answers or assistance in the following areas: Identification of correct replacement part usage, resolution of quality problems with products, appropriate repair methods and practices, information on applicable warranties, clarification on information in publications, locations of relevant publications and facilitating the return of failed components for evaluation. 

Summary: Provide technical support to dealers by providing timely and accurate responses to technical inquiries via the replacement parts Technical Help Line. 

Education/Experience: Technologydegree or equivalent experience. 

2 - 4 years experience in / general knowledge of engineering, diesel mechanics or engine assembly/testing. 

Technical Skills 

Skills and Competencies: Required: Working knowledge of engines and engine components. 

Technical knowledge of engines and engine components. 

Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills for face to face and by phone/email. 

Desired: Competent using: Service Information System (SIS), Technical Marketing Information (TMI), HVC Desktop, Call logging, and Technical Supplements. 

Soft Skills

Excellent communication skills and phone etiquette. Ability to provide superior support to customers via the phone.
