Engineer in Test

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Engineer in Test at Tigo Energy will become our in-house testing automation solutions expert with our hardware and software solutions.

Our products are know by our customers in residential and commercial applications as a cost efficient solution that have a breadth of features and what is considered the most efficient install times and commissioning times. This success is a direct result of our global, cross-functional teams working collaboratively, in unison, to provide the best solutions in the market.

Working directly with the Tigo Engineers and our manufacturing partners, the Engineer in Test will building fully functional testing automation solutions using software and standard testing equipment (e.g. oscilloscopes) that will be testing power consumption and sending commands to the equipment, as well as other features.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Software development for all Tigo Automatic testers including:
• New Testers development, production testers support, and source code version control management in Gitlab
• Key decision-making for tester's architecture and test equipment
• Perform test results statistical analysis, investigation to improve productivity and production line reliability

WHAT WE WOULD LIKE TO SEE

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science, or Computer Engineering or equivalent
• 3 years of hands-on experience with developing automatic testers for mass production
• Experienced with C#, C, Gitlab
• Experience writing software to automate process to control the following test equipment: DVM, Power Supply, Oscilloscope, Signal Generator
