World Wide Technology, Inc. has an opportunity available for an Engagement Specialist to support our Big Data Team.  They must be willing to travel 50-75% of the time. This position will be focused on working closely with our customers to lead projects as well as mentor more junior team members.  They will be responsible for marketing the company’s services both to internal and external customers.




Customer work: Engagement managers work as part of a core team serving WWT’s customers, including the CTO/CIO Advisors, Enterprise Architects, Managing Directors and Account Managers.  They are responsible for Project Ownership and End Products, and contribute to the analysis, design, and implementation of business performance to ensure positive impact and sustainable results. They provide leadership in inspiring others & building strong relationships.  Engagement managers also own the documentation and organization responsibilities around complex projects, delivering strong analytical, quantitative and conceptual thinking skills and effective interpersonal and communication skills to ensure successful client projects & team performance

Marketing: Engagement managers market the firm’s services to new/existing clients, develop white papers about industries

People development: They participate in recruiting, screening candidates, campus presentations, informal meeting with candidates, interviewing, represent the Management Consulting Practice in EBCs, Help develop our Management Consulting Practice in conjunction with other senior leaders in the group




  • PhD or MBA
  • 7+ Years of Experience in the consulting field leading customer engagements
  • Understanding of technical concepts around Big Data and broader business analytics.
