Delivery Management:

  • Manage delivery from Client location and serve as the first point of escalation
  • Accountable for overall delivery across multiple projects in the engagement
  • Responsible for reporting SLAs, metrics and other critical hygiene factors that impact the Account
  • Resolves delivery issues; understands and manages client expectations to result in an exceptional client experience
  • Anchor and drive the steering committee meetings about the delivery status for all projects
  • Track and support the activities of project teams to ensure quality and timeliness of program execution

 

Technical Knowledge:

  • Expected to have a high level technical & functional knowledge in Analytics and Information Management area to explain business problems to Cognizant internal teams and cascade information in most lucid form
  • Review solution and estimate for new opportunities
  • Should be able to tactically handle internal escalations among project teams and horizontals
  • Reporting to our internal senior management or leadership teams on the overall engagement (across different dimensions like delivery, bid management, staffing, financials etc.)

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in a related major
  • 15+ years of experience with demonstrated experience in delivering Projects, P&L responsibilities, managing multiple accounts from a delivery and growth perspective, industry segment and customer interactions.
  • Experience in technology delivery projects in handling large delivery engagements. 
  • Technology background in at least one of the popular Analytics and Information Management tools and technologies (ETL, BI, Big Data, Cloud, Analytics, Data Sciences, Metadata Management and MDM)
  • Excellent program / portfolio management skills managing large/complex transformational programs for North American clients
  • Excellent client management, relationship building and escalation management skills
  • Ability to have tough conversations on critical project deliverables / timelines / scope and negotiate on behalf of Cognizant
  • Experience interacting with CXO level IT leaders to represent delivery status
  • Understanding of financial management, revenue forecasting and profitability management
