Job Description:

  • Experience Level (Years) 4

Overview:

  • Experience - 3 to 4 years of experience
  • Good experience in Energy Storage system design using Li-Ion batteries or Fuel Cells 
  • Experience in Electrical System Design for Vehicles
  • Matlab; Capital H tools
  • Electrical Energy Storage System; Electrical System Design
  • Energy Storage System Design; Fuel-Cell Technology; Li-ion Battery charging system design; Electrical System Design; System requirement analysis; Electrical system development planning; Electrical system design; Electrical system design integrity
  • Electrical Energy Storage Systems (ESS) Design Engineer
  • Conceive, develop, and evaluate systems and system components for lift trucks, including Energy Storage Systems (ESS) such as Fuel cell, Lead Acid and Li-Ion batteries
  • Refine system requirements in consultation with analyst. 
  • Propose plans for system development, testing, and review
  • Propose system concepts / definitions / specifications - given set of requirements.
  • Design specific functional testing - evaluate & ensure system design integrity, validate models and provide proof of performance.
  • Review and evaluate test results, validate/calibrate models as required, and reconcile performance to requirements.
  • Participate in risk assessments and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEAs).
  • Properly document the system design, the design process, and the results of the design evaluation, and communicate this information to others (project engineers, group leaders, managers) for critical reviews and decision making.

Primary Skills:

Secondary Skills:

  • Ability to work though challenging technical issues independently
  • Good written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of modeling tools for system design and of requirements capturing tools preferred
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelordegree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, ElectricalEngineering or Systems Engineering, or equivalent education
