  • Lead and contribute to engagements for clients in the energy sector including electric and gas utilities, power generators, in addition to law firms, private equity firms, and investment banks
  • Lead and contribute to:
    • utility and corporate resource planning projects
    • strategic planning assessments
    • wholesale energy market analyses and reports
  • Prepare and provide expert witness testimony
  • Actively support business development efforts through the development of proposal and participation to orals
  • Develop and manage client relationships
  • Serve as performance manager
  • Communicate solutions and new strategies to clients through reports and presentations
  • Effective and efficient writing skills, ability to draft senior level management reports


  • BA or BS in Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Policy, or Engineering;
  • MBA or other advanced degree preferred
  • At least 7 year’s experience in energy markets, utility planning, and/or strategic planning;
  • Strong project management skills;
  • Highly developed organizational and management skills;
  • Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive priorities without diminished effectiveness;
  • Demonstrated proficiency with spreadsheets and presentation software (PowerPoint);
  • Exceptional communication skills;
  • Ability to travel and work overtime hours as needed

  • Frequently travels by airplane, train or car as necessary to perform work at another location
