Position SummaryFrederick Primary Care Associates is seeking a
Nurse Practitioner specializing in Endocrinology to join our well-established and respected practice. The ideal candidate demonstrates clinical excellence, a commitment to ongoing professional development, and a patient-centered approach to care.
This role requires an active Maryland NP license, board certification, Maryland CDS registration, and a current DEA certificate.
Key Responsibilities- Independently assess and manage patients, in collaboration with supervising physician
- Assist with acute and chronic endocrine care management
- Conduct comprehensive history and physical examinations
- Perform minor in-office procedures as appropriate
- Order and interpret laboratory and imaging results
- Prescribe medications and manage treatment plans
- Educate patients on conditions, treatments, and preventive care
- Support practice-wide clinical goals and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements- Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license and board certification
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Proficient with technology and comfortable using electronic medical records (EMR)
- Sound clinical judgment and decision-making abilities
- Commitment to delivering care that meets the highest clinical standards
