Are you a team player and creative thinker with strong writing and project management skills? Do you have a passion for communicating and thriving in a fast-moving, results-driven environment? Synopsys is looking for a Communications Specialist to join our growing Employee Communications Team.

In this exciting role you will drive employee communications across our growing global organization (3b and 13,000+ employees and counting). You will play a key role in creating compelling content to keep our employee base informed and engaged about strategic initiatives, team news, and more.  You will be a member of the Synopsys Talent Team and will partner closely with the Employee Communications Director and other team members and will be an important voice of and to employees.

What you’ll be doing
 

  • Participate in the creation, planning and execution of a wide spectrum of employee communication efforts
  • Craft clever, inspiring content to be shared through a variety of channels, including email, video, presentations, social media and more
  • Partner closely with a wide variety of Leaders to drive interest and understanding in business priorities, initiatives and trends
  • Champion communication best practices, creating toolkits and resources to be used across Synopsys
  • Develop and track success measures and goals
     

Qualifications
 

  • Communications professional with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience (employee communications, integrated marketing, brand management, etc.)
  • Exceptional written and verbal communications
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and build productive partnerships
  • Outstanding team player, who can take work direction from multiple individuals
  • Critical thinking with flexibility, openness to change and new information – quick learner
  • Eye for detail while being aware of the big picture, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills such as PowerPoint and Word; proficient in Excel. Proficiency in HTML a plus
  • Proactive, self-motivated and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment while managing multiple projects
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Communications, English, Public Relations, Journalism, or Marketing Communications
