We are looking for a full-time Embedded Test Software Engineer to for our headquarters in Yarmouth, Maine. In this role you will be responsible for collaborating and adding value through participation in peer test reviews by providing comments and suggestions and communicating shared changes across teams. Other essential functions include:
Follows defined software verification and testing processes
Provides reliable solutions to a variety of problems using sound problem solving techniques
Performs technical root cause analysis and outlines corrective action for given problems
Works collaboratively and professionally with other Garmin associates in cross functional teams to achieve goals
Apply a sense of urgency, commitment and focus on the right priorities in developing solutions in a timely fashion
Applies Garmin’s Mission, Vision, Values and Quality Policy and enthusiastically exhibits a desire to see Garmin succeed
Qualified candidates possess a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Math, or Physics from a four-year college or university AND a minimum of 1-year relevant experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
