The Email Marketing Manager role requires working knowledge as to how email marketing supports demand generation, prospect nurturing, testing, optimization, and data analysis. Other key attributes that are critical for this job include strong data analysis skills, excellent communication skills, and an ROI-driven approach for all day-to-day recommendations. The Email Marketing Manager must illustrate strong interpersonal skills in order to gain consensus across planned programs and train client teams on email marketing best practices

What You’ll Do

  • Work alongside the marketing team to set individual campaign KPIs.
  • Provide valuable metrics and statistical information for websites and campaigns; determine effectiveness of campaigns in multiple channels.
  • Work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment to train staff in the use of email marketing platforms and best practices.
  • Accountable for training client marketing team on the implementation of marketing campaigns and associated processes.
  • Maintains high-level plan of monthly marketing campaigns through shared marketing calendar to ensure accurate timing and execution.
  • Devise, launch, and manage ongoing optimization of lifecycle-based drip campaigns, nurture campaigns, and web behavior triggered emails to drive conversions.
  • Increase and measure email subscribers through strategic initiatives, paying close attention to opt-out behaviors.
  • Implement list segmentation best practices, processes, and targeted campaigns.
  • Provide input for email landing page optimization and A|B testing.

About You

  • 3-5 years experience as an email marketing manager or digital marketing specialist
  • Experience creating email marketing strategy and executing drip email campaign
  • Proficiency in marketing automation technology; experience working in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo, or Pardot a plus
  • Familiarity with analytical and database tools, including knowledge of SEO/SEM and Google Analytics
  • Strong project management skills
  • An ability to work under tight deadlines
