Utilize chemistry, materials, and manufacturing plating process expertise to plate Silver, Copper, Nickel, and Tin on electronic passive components.
*** Plan methods, scope of work, and coordinate design and development of projects in compliance with specifications.
*** Develop new plating chemistry formulations through hands-on experiments to meet plating specifications.
*** Optimize existing and develop new manufacturing support processes.
*** Maintain plating batch composition, temperature, and concentration.
*** Implement process controls required for plating bath maintenance and chemical analysis techniques.
*** Provide technical support for preventative maintenance and production issues.
*** Serve as subject matter expert related to various types of materials and plating processes used in the electronics industry: electroplating; electro-less plating; surface treatment knowledge of Nickel, Tin, Tin-Lead, Copper and Silver; plating chemistries & analysis; and similar.
