As an Electronics Engineering Associate Manager for the Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) team within the Interceptor Production Electronics team, you will be responsible for:
• Management and development of your team
• Support of department and program initiatives
• Driving technical excellence, program execution, and maintaining a rewarding and productive work environment for the team

Management responsibilities include:
• Serving as the technical lead for a team of 5-8 early and mid-level engineers that make up the GNC team.
• Employee selection/recruitment, career mentoring, work assignments, technical oversight, performance assessments, identifying opportunities for growth and development, managing training needs, behavioral actions, compensation, and awards/recognition.
• Ensuring assigned personnel accomplish all required duties in a timely fashion and flow information between staff and management.
• Providing technical oversight, engaging and being fully cognizant of the team's products and services, supporting the Certified Principal Engineers (CPEs) in task execution, and ensuring the team adheres to all applicable engineering processes

*Ability to obtain SECRET Clearance required for this role.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related discipline
• Experience with complex electronic hardware for airborne or space platforms.
• Demonstrated leadership attributes.
• Strong team leadership skills and experience leading people and technical investigations
• Experience communicating technical topics to non-technical customers / leadership and communicating customer/leadership desires to technical team.
• Experience in development, integration, test, and demonstration of an electronics solution which complies with all performance requirements.
• Broad technical expertise and experience in aspects of electronics design, test and verification

• Experience throughout the engineering life cycle in a supervisory or lead role (system definition, design, build, test, and deployment) is preferred.
• Experience working in a team focused, dynamic production environment on high reliability electronics.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong engineering technical base.
• Experience with MS Project, Enterprise Product Data Management (EPDM) or equivalent engineering data repository, and MS Office tools.
• Prior experience as a Certified Principal Engineer (CPE) or technical lead is a plus.
• Experience communicating technical topics to non-technical customers / leadership and communicating customer/leadership desires to technical team.
