GEA Group, located in York, PA, is searching for an Electrical Project Engineer - Control Systems, to join our Engineering Department! Responsibilities:- Configure programs for control of industrial refrigeration equipment.
- Work to refine contract details.
- Oversee the creation of electrical contract drawings.
- Write manuals explaining the configured control logic.
- Provide start up support for executed contracts.
- Ability to share productivity enhancements found with other Project Engineers.
Your Profile / Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field highly preferred.
- 5-10 years of related experience REQUIRED.
- 5+ years of experience with HMI/SCADA and discrete logic REQUIRED.
- Knowledge of industrial refrigeration, panel building, electrical drafting, PLC programming, and/or VBA scripting is preferred.
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word)
Experience/Exposure to the following:
- Allen-Bradley ControlLogix Standard Controllers, RSLogix™ 5000 programming software
- AutoCAD
- Ethernet/RS-485 communications
- XML/VB/PLC/SCADA
The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $90,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year. GEA Group has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States.
