$65,000 to $80,000 Permanent Position with Benefits

A growing Youngstown area original equipment manufacturer is seeking an electrical engineer for their team. A primary focus of this role will involve the generation of calculations and electrical schematics for high voltage, high current applications. This position requires a candidate that has superior math skills, hands-on AutoCAD experience, and the ability to direct/assist technician level associates in equipment testing. Other duties will include the layout of PLC control systems, generation of ladder logic diagrams, development of BOMs, preparation of instruction manuals, and customer interface. Professional communication skills and strong organizational abilities are essential for success in this position.

REQUIREMENTS

  • BSEE
  • Demonstrated experience with calculations for high voltage applications
  • Hands-on AutoCAD skills
  • Ability to generate schematics, layout of PLC systems, ladder logic diagrams, BOMs, etc.
  • Experience taking preliminary design concepts to manufacturing to include troubleshooting on shop floor
  • Strong communication and organizational skills


Candidates may be required to submit to a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
