Providesupport to the maintenance, repair, and improvement of instrument andelectrical systems in the manufacturing facility. Provides design capability to the engineering department in the area ofelectrical systems for both expensed and capital projects. Provides knowledge and expertise insupport of the I/Etechnicians when issues exceed their normal capability. Monitors instrument/electrical preventive maintenanceevents and assists production personnel in planning and executing theseevents. Interfaces withmaintenance supervisors on I/Eelectrical issues for the entire facility. Plans work orders and execute procurement requirements for I/E issues. Recommends process improvements and upgrades affecting quality and compliance to environmental permits. Assumes responsibility for the plant I/E engineering duties in order to perform preventive maintenance and repairs. Coordinates and plans the activities ofcontractI/E personnel.
Experience and Education B.S. Electrical Engineering or similar 5+ years of experience in an industrial setting, preferably in manufacturing
Functional and Technical Skills Strong technical expertise in the practical application of I/E engineering principles. Strong computer skills, SAP preferred. Self-starter with problem solving skills. Sound organizational and time management skills.
