Job Description

Responsibilities:  Develop, maintain, and improve the overall fuel cell power plant system electrical architecture, functional requirements, designs, and related documentation.  Identify/design site-specific requirements, electrical equipment, and configurations. This includes unique applications like MicroGrids.  Understand and continuously improve the behavior of the fuel cell power plant inverter system, confronted with all types of electrical grid variations, to maximize uptime. This will include working closely with key electrical equipment suppliers and becoming an expert on inverter operations, tuning, and standardization in collaboration with Controls Engineering.  Perform analyses including: reliability, harmonics, load flow, etc. Analyze and interpret data.  Design and conduct experiments to verify and validate designs.  Interface with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Project Management, equipment suppliers, contractors, Service, Business Development, etc. to driv
