She/He will lead the EHS function in the site o Monitor, assist, coach, assess, develop the EHS teams in the site o Conduct induction programs for new EHS people in the site. o Involve social and medical partners and communicate with them about EHS. Develop Site EHS Management System o Develop, deploy and maintain the local procedures and tools applicable to the Site specific for EHS Management System in line with Transport& Country/Cluster EHS Management System o Ensure that Alstom EHS standards and tools (AZDP, TOP_E, Transport Key processes) are deployed at Site level. EHS Compliance o Monitor compliance with all relevant statutory, regulatory, contractual and company requirements & propose actions to correct any gap o Maintain appropriate records and documentation of the Site. o Monitor historical pollution & associated risks. Develop EHS culture in the site o Influence the site EHS performance: facilitate change and EHS continuous improvement o Built the site EHS communication plan o Prepare and implement an EHS training plan and program with the support from HR and a local EHS communication plan. Report, Measure & Review o Ensure that Accidents/Incidents are first prevented, and when occurring, reported, recorded, investigated and analyzed. Establish and communicate REX reports in case of severe or potentially severe accidents. Ensure Alstom EHS call for actions are deployed at site level. Prepare and submit monthly EHS reports. Feed EHS Teranga reporting system in line with Group reporting requirements. Is accountable for data quality of the Site. Organize and lead internal EHS audits and inspections of the EHS reporting process in the Country/Cluster.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor Degree as an Engineer or Business Degree

Health & Safety Qualification recognized by the enforcing authorities

Fluent English

Experience

Professional experience between 5 and 8 years

Experience of almost 3 years in Environment, Health & Safety 

Experience in manufacturing sites or Regional Centers 

Good knowledge and understanding of ISO14001, OHSAS 18001, ISO45001 

Deep knowledge of local legal requirements

Leadership and management of direct and indirect reports

Experience to attend internal and external audits and local regulations departaments
