Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager to be based at our climate-controlled production and fulfillment facility in Henderson, Nevada.

Summary

The EHS Manager will be responsible for the development and implementation of company policies and procedures adhering to local, state and federal environmental, health and safety regulations within multiple locations throughout the US. She/he will lead the improvement of the design and effectiveness of facilities, work areas and work procedures and to make an environmental, health and safety high performance organization.

Essential Job Duties

Responsible for overseeing the preparation, maintenance, and updating of environmental and safety policy and procedure manuals.

Ensure compliance with all environmental, health and safety regulations, and keeps abreast of any changes to laws and regulations that impact the organization.

Maintain EHS training records and develop and conduct training as required

Assist in modifications of EHS programs and procedures to ensure company compliance

Support assigned sites with audits, accident investigations and EHS concerns

Maintain an in-depth knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements

Develop and work with sites' operations team focused on EHS program development, implementation and improvement

Measure progress toward successfully meeting corporate expectations

Integrate the EHS function with site operations

Analyze data to assess EHS challenges and develop approaches for continuous improvement / maximizing program effectiveness

Assure all regulatory requiredreports and submittals are filed timely and accurately

Oversee and improve environmental monitory systems

Education/Experience

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college in a technical field

Minimum of 5 years of EHS experience within a cGMP production /industrial environment is preferred

Ability and willingness to travel between locations up to 30%

Ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization, as well as organizations outside of (regulatory agencies)

Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
