The Education Executive will work to ensure excellence & consistency in services, ensure brand standards are met and to drive productivity and sales in all channels (department/specialty, specialty-multi, & online) across region.
The Education Executive will work with the Executive Director, Education – North America to facilitate core education programs in line with guidelines provided by the Global Education Department, including seasonal seminars, basic orientation, and implementation digital learning tools. Responsibilities include “train the trainer” coaching and development of Account Executive/Coordinator and Local/Brand Leads, as well as counter & boutique staff.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:
Sales Performance & Coaching -
To drive sell through of our product range and achieve retailsales targets set by the company through account planning and leadership teams.
Coaching and development of local market field and highlight training opportunities to sales & education leadership.
Host regular Education Workshops to drive the sell through of new launches/limited life collections and core products, while reinforcing basic brand services and skills.
Productivity & Service Performance -
Track, measure and drive achievement of brand KPI’s as outlined by Sales & Education leadership.
Support and develop field teams to ensure Stylists have the necessary skills required to successfully achieve brand KPI’s while providing tracking tools to measure growth.
Drive service standards through coaching/feedback and the execution of the Service Accreditation Program.
Events & Animation -
Plan & Conduct Marketing supported & retailer events that are high touch, profitable & exceed our customers’ expectations.
Monitor effectiveness of all events and I.P.T / AUS on an ongoing basis and discuss opportunities with Director of Education & Sales Team.
Provide coaching and feedback to Education Ambassador ensuring the successful planning, appointment booking and execution of Deluxe Service.
Field & Stylist Support -
Ensure consistency in the customer experience at the boutique through the execution of the Service Accreditation Program following target guidelines issued by Global Education.
Lead by example & coach brand grooming, merchandising and service standards & guidelines.
Liaise regularly with NYO sales & education leadership to identify and address field coaching opportunities and development needs in all doors.
Work closely with AE/AC/BL/LL to plan and conduct store visits to provide individual training as appropriate.
Education Support -
Facilitate core education programs as directed by ED – Education, NA and Global Education, inclusive of seminars, in-store coaching and digital (ELM) coursework.
To conduct Jo Malone Education Seminars to ensure that our field leadership & stylists provide the highest professional service standards in the industry, resulting in achievement of retail goals.
Conduct strategic follow up of seminar education to ensure successful roll out of training initiatives in all doors.
Identify regionally relevant education opportunities and highlight these to ED – Education, NA through regular feedback and reporting.
Participate in the new store opening process to assist in store setup and staff training.
Administration & Budget -
Work within specific budget as defined by the ED – Education, NA (e.g. T&E budget).
Review on a regular basis with ED of Education and justify and variances from budget.
Provide regular feedback to ED – Education detailing results of markets visits.
Complete monthly educationreports and submit to Global Education/Brand Manager in a timely fashion.
BA is preferred
Must be able to speak & write Spanish fluently
Position requires 5 years of related experience in education/training
Excellent writing & verbal communication skills required
Strong project management skills.
Strong computer skills for both PC & Ipad
