Who we are looking for
We’re looking for an experienced manager to join the Global Employee & Career Development team, within Nike’s Global Learning and Development team! This role leads the global Learning and Development editorial calendar and communications aligning new L&D product releases and existing L&D portfolio, the Nike Talent and Business calendar, and timely life events our employees care about. The candidate needs to be passionate about crafting simple, straightforward, and human communication strategy and messaging. They need to have experience working in a leading, global company with multiple audiences.
What you will work on
If this is you, you’ll work with multiple teams to design, plan, build and execute Learning and Development annual editorial calendar communication plans and communications for the Global Learning and Development team. Your key partners will be the global learning and development team, TD&C partners, internal communications, and employees across NIKE, Inc,. A typical day/week can focus on the design, writing, editing, testing, and improving content that makes our Learning and Development easier to use. You will work with the internal comms and geo learning teams team to ensure local adaptation is considered and there is a solid plan for rollout and ongoing communications. You’ll use quantitative and qualitative insights to make recommendations to improve awareness and adoption of learning products. You will maintain knowledge by staying up to date with emerging trends in integrated marketing, brand, and learning and development.
Who you will work with
You will work with the global learning and development team across the globe, you will report to the Senior Director, Employee and Career Development. This role requires you to work within the Nike matrix and to build strong working relationships with global and geo learning teams, internal comms, internal brand, HR business partners, and other centers of expertise. Key partners for this role are the employees you are working in service of.
