The Edge Computing business line is looking for a very senior and seasoned technical talent for the exciting role of Edge Computing Software Architect. The Edge Computing Software Architect will be an individual striving to contribute to the rapidly evolving IoT Edge Computing field where enterprises are now intending to move their operations to an intelligent edge at an accelerated pace. The Edge Computing Software Architect will help lead this transformation.

This technical hands-on role requires working closely with Tier-1 customers and other engineering teams in tackling complex system level problems which cannot be black-and-white categorized into a particular area, such as hardware, platform or software—it spans all of these. This role requires working with different SMEs internally, as well as with different domain experts in customers’ engineering teams. You should be well-versed in helicoptering up and down, talking about overall product and architecting a good solution for the customer, as well as going down into the details and rolling-up your sleeves, to debugging the problem. The position will primarily be for networking, industrial, and IoT segment customers, which are the areas targeted for ambitious business growth. You will be comfortable working in a fast-moving environment, and be excited about working with edge appliances, embedded systems, and multimedia processors with advanced graphics, video, machine learning, and emerging protocols like 5G for multiple market opportunities.
