This is a new role on a new team.

My client is seeking an individual with the ability to grow this group from the ground up and bring unique ideas and processes to the company.

Job Summary:

Looking for a Fulfillment Manager, eCommerce to support the online selling division by working internally and cross functionally to develop and manage logistics for the eCommerce division, including management of shipping partnerships (i.e. FedEx, UPS).

This position will oversee all aspects of the Organization’s eCommerce fulfillment, manage relationships with third party vendors and execute strategies to optimize fulfillment expense.

This candidate will also be responsible for identifying and implementing operational efficiencies to improve speed and turnaround time of customer orders and other operational activities.

The ideal candidate will be a forward thinker, self-starter, capable of multitasking and be able to anticipate and plan.

Essential Job Functions:

Forecast and manage inventory in partnershipwith the account managers and dropship managers.

Create, evaluate and improve internal and external processes.

Develop and implement management of change plans and processes.

Report weekly on key performance metrics to all internal stakeholders.

Monitor vendor returns internally withfinance and dropship manager.

Ensure timely processing back to vendors monthly and that proper credit is received from supplier.

Inspecting and overseeing the inventory records of the E-commerce and keeping track of all outbound shipments.

Manage the peak/promotional shipping lead times as it pertains to drop ship product.

Evaluate the third party carriers being used to deliver product and negotiate carrier shipping contracts for improvements.

Assist in partnering withinternal teams including dropship manger and distribution center teams to determine how to best fulfill all products available to e-commerce customers.

Collaborate with the customer service and dropship manager teams to understanding root causes for any operational chargebacks to establish changes that need to be made to avoid future expenses.

Monitor e-commerce account availability and ordering frequency to find defects that are driving too low or too high inventory levels to make recommendations for changes.

Monitor operational KPIs like lead times, fulfillment rate, shipping time, etc. to track progress towards operational goals and work on initiatives to improve KPI’s.

Participate in annual and monthly budget/forecast setting processes.

Day to day operations tracking, tracing, reporting, process documentation, and new vendor process launches, etc.

Specialized Knowledge/Skills:

Familiar with the operations of drop ship processes.

Strategic, down-field thinker with a keen eye for process improvement and change management.

Experiencewithinventory management tools (JD Edwards, NetSuite, etc.)

Experiencewith Radial.

Effective problem solving skills.

Ability to work with little direction, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Flexibility and ability to prioritize multiple assignments.

Self-Motivated with a critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting.

Education/Experience:

*Bachelors’ degreerequired.

*2+ years of drop ship experience.

*4+ years of relevant eCommerce experience.
