Regional Sales Manager – Industrial/Utility T&D – This position works from a Virtual office. The Sales Professional is preferred to live in the great Minneapolis area. This position requires up to 50% travel. The primary area of travel and coverage is expected to be the Eastern U.S. and Canada. Manage and direct the selection and development of independent manufacturer's rep organizations and direct sales personnel to supportsales in the assigned market segment and sales territories. Assist in directing the efforts of technical applications group’s efforts in the territory. Develop and implement strategy for the assigned market segments. Working knowledge of power systems in the assigned market segment is helpful; however candidates withexperience in sellingother technical products will be considered. The position is estimated to be 80% commercial and 20% technical. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree or higher. A minimum of 5years of salesexperience is required. Previous experienceworking with independent Factory Sales Representatives is preferred. The Customer base includes primarily Industrial, Utility Transmission and Distribution (T&D).
