The Judge Group is seeking a degreed E-commerce Director of Strategy for a large distribution company in Ohio. The Director will play a major role in shaping and executing the national eCommerce innovation program as well as providing a hands-on approach to driving execution. He or she will manage cradle to grave strategic innovation projects, while being a critical contributor to cross-functional teams. The qualified individual will drive the E-commerce agenda of the company. He or she MUST have Big Box Retailer experience to be considered for this role.


  • Have a strategic direction, contributing to high-level innovation strategy development 
  • Drive development of E-commerce strategies, leveraging insights and influencing key stakeholders
  • Conduct analytic assessments of competitive dynamics and fast-growth online categories as a basis for development of strategy
  • Act as a strategic partner to corporate and the distribution sites 
  • Drive expansion and optimization projects
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to drive E-commerce agenda to potential targets 
  • Oversee integration of new prospects into E-commerce 
  • Develop growth platforms, identifying and prioritizing new ideas that embody emerging consumer trends 
  • Drive management initiatives and strategic performance optimization 
  • Focus on driving the E-commerce initiative across the organization
  • Establish best practices, and standardized processes to assess E-commerce potential of products and brands 


  • Bachelor?s Degreerequired (Master?s degree STRONGLY preferred)
  • 7+ years?experience driving E-commerce for a Big Box Retailer
  • Big Box Retailer experience is required, no exceptions 
  • Prior experience creating an E-commerce strategy, or integrating a new strategy from a merger/acquisition 
  • Must have a solid financial modeling background, and a successful track record of running cradle-to-grave projects
