Dynamics 365 Business Analyst at PAR Technology in New Hartford, NY

Position Description

PAR is looking for an experienced Business Analyst (BA) to join the IT team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for improving value streams cross-functionally and partnering with the business to discover and execute complex digital solutions to business challenges. Reporting to the Manager of Digital Enablement and partnering with stakeholders across the company, the IT BA will drive solution discovery and delivery for PAR’s ERP and CRM business system, Microsoft Dynamics 365.

What We’re Looking For

• A bachelor’s degree in a business or technology related major, relevant industry certification, and 5+ years’ experience as a BA for ERP or CRM systems, but we’re flexible depending on your experience
• Thorough knowledge of general business operations and how ERP and CRM systems enable them, preferably experienced with the Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform
• Technically astute and able to synthesize technical features into easy-to-understand business benefits
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to build strong relationships and influence a wide range of stakeholders
• Work with a sense of urgency that leans toward action, exhibit ownership in your sphere of influence, and prioritize the most meaningful outcomes

• Understand how PAR’s business value streams and systems operate, and use that knowledge to identify opportunities and bring recommendations to the business
• Partner with stakeholders to understand business challenges and collaboratively develop strategies for improvement by further leveraging digital technology
• Lead process and system discussions to solution improved workflows in Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Support and lead business process owners through documenting business value, gathering requirements, and composing user stories
• Maintain alignment and open communication with business stakeholders and technical resources
• Put together and lead presentations for stakeholders at any level in the company
• Be an integral part of our Agile/Scrum process, helping sponsors, developers, and users work together to maintain a successful cadence of releasing value to the business
• Changes need to be tested – generate and help others with testing plans/cases so we can get it right the first time
