The National DSNP Program Office supports DSNP growth, expansion and operations for all DSNPs. This position will be responsible for working with the National DSNP Care Management unit to develop operational, management, compliance and regulatory reports from the new MedCompass clinical platform. This position will act as the analytic lead for complex report writing projects that will involving working with multiple operational areas, and learning regulatory requirements in order to develop specification. This position is responsible for program reporting by understanding business requirements, program data sources and coding. Collaboration with Program Design, Operations, Operations Integrity, Compliance, Quality Management and Business Partners is a key function of this position. The position will support efforts to drive continuous improvement.
To be successful in this assignment, the candidate must have demonstrated skills in documenting detailed business/reporting requirements, data gathering, interpretation, analysis and presentation. Expertise in PC SAS, SAS EG, SQL and Excel is required. Knowledge of Tableau is a plus. Understanding of care management program operations and CMS regulatory requirements related to Medicare Advantage, Special Needs Plans, and Part C data validation a plus. Attention to detail and delivering accurate requirements on time is essential. This position will support reporting for the new Clinical Platform, MedCompass. The candidate should have a strong passion for data integrity with an eye for detail, but also be in tune with the big picture. This individual should understand their audience and associated work processes to be able to effectively turn business requirements into meaningful information. Expectations are that this individual will have solid verbal and written communication skills to facilitate independent follow through on process questions, to influence problem resolution, and to recommend workflow enhancements.
(*) 4-6 years experience in healthcare with accountability for business results is preferred;
(*) Knowledge of managed care programs/initiatives;
(*) Intermediate SAS/SQL programming experience; report writing experience
(*) Technical proficiency using tools such as Tableau is a plus;
(*) Knowledge of Netezza and Hadoop is a plus;
(*) Experience building complex reports based on business defined specifications.
(*) Must be self-motivated, team oriented, and comfortable working with a team that is not co-located;
(*) Ability to manage conflicting priorities and multiple projects concurrently;
(*) Strong communication skills.
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
