Position: Drupal Developer

Location: Washington DC

Duration: Fulltime

We are seeking a Drupal Developer to design and develop a Drupal solution for support releases and develop ideas for improving and extending the solution, including modules. Implement views, taxonomies, and references. Develop and customize Drupal themes and sub-themes. Build page layouts with content and blocks, build navigation with menus and toolbars, create content types, and perform code reviews. Communicate and coordinate proactively with multiple project teams. Investigate, diagnose, and resolve production issues with a quick turnaround time and communicate root cause and workaround options to team members and clients. Attend client or deliverable support and design meetings.

Required:

  • 5 years of experience with hands-on software development
  • 2 years of experience with PHP
  • 1 years of experience with developing Drupal Web sites and Web applications
  • Experience with setting up and configuring Drupal sites
  • Experience with designing and debugging applications
  • Experience with implementing Web sites in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
  • Ability to work independently and mentor junior members of the development team
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • BA or BS degreerequired

Preferred:

  • Experience with Drupal 8 preferred
  • Experience in working with RESTful Web Services
  • Experience with programming languages, including Python, Perl, .NET, Ruby, Java, or C#
  • Experience with test driven development and unit testing tools
  • Experience with source control management systems, including Subversion and Git
  • Experience with the migration of existing CMS content into Drupal via the Migrate module
  • Experience with Drupal modules, including feeds, Organic Groups, Open LDAP, Simple SAML, OAuth, Panels, Display Suite, or Context
  • Experience with configuring users, roles, and permissions
  • Ability to analyze requirements and formulate design
