Description

Molecular Devices is seeking a Sales Professional responsible for the sales activities associated with the Drug Discovery Cellular Imaging and screening product platform in the New England territory.  A Sales Professional is required to will build and maintain strong customer relationships directed toward growing Molecular Devices’ market share, revenue and profitability year over year.

Target Market

Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Pharma, Academic research labs, Contract labs, Government installations, some clinical labs

Product Line

  • High Content Cellular Imaging
  • High Throughput Screening
  • Reagents and Service

Responsibilities

  • Achieve territory goals & targets, via proficient closing business in the territory
  • Maintaining an accurate & up-to-date customer database in Salesforce.com
  • Accurate monthly forecasting for the territory
  • Performing Lead generation activities
  • Attending and participating in Regional and Local Product Shows
  • Balanced growth via both direction and distributionchannel



Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a related Life Sciences discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of field sales experience Selling into the life science or drug discovery industry

Preferred: 




    •  Knowledge of
      Cellular imaging technology

    •  Skills in
      PowerPoint, Excel, Word

    • CRMexperience with
      Salesforce.com

    •  Record of
      accomplishment of successful Capital Equipment sales
