The Drawback Manager will be responsible for the handling and oversight of C.H. Robinson’s duty drawback program including the investigation and processing of refunds of duties, taxes and fees paid on importer merchandise that is exported as well as networkeducation. Additionally, this person will be responsible for utilizing analytics to determine admissibility requirements required by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
This position can be located out of any of the C.H. Robinson Global Forwarding Offices across the United States.
Process duty drawback entries with CBP on behalf of C.H. Robinson clients
Process importer set up paperwork for drawback with CBP
Qualifying drawback opportunities
Providing clients with quotes and estimated refund of duties and taxes
Act as network Subject Matter Expert (SME) including network training and involvement with sales opportunities
Perform other duties as assigned
5+ years of experience filing drawback
1+ years of management experiencepreferred
Licensed U.S. Customs Broker preferred
Willingness to travel up to 20%
High school diploma / GED equivalent required
Minimum 2 yrs higher educationpreferred
Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel and operational systems
