Overview

Foot Locker is seeking a .NET developerresponsible for building .NET applications using C# for both front and back end systems.  Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, document and support these layers of our application and coordinate with the team to achieve the goal.   A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design and quality product is essential.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
  • Identify bottlenecks, bugs and devise solutions to mitigate these issues
  • Knowledge of building process flows and documentation required for implementation
  • Develop, execute and document test plans for development activities
  • Able to communicate effectively and professionally and escalate issues timely
  • Apply time management techniques to meet established deadlines for assigned tasks
  • Proactively coordinate with other teams/team members to solve problems
  • Provide on-callsupport of production applications as part of a rotation within the development team
  • Able to work special shifts when required to support special projects or activities
  • Capable of working well within a team environment

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

 

  • BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
  • 1+ years development experiencepreferred

 Requirements

 

  • Strong knowledge of .NET web framework
  • Experience with Visual Studio
  • Design, document and code an application based on business requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of SDLC, JavaScript, and C#
  • Attention to detail
