Perform highly complex analysis, design, development, testing, and debugging of computer software in support of lines of businesses. Develop and apply advanced methods, theories, and emerging technologies to the development of complex .NET Web and mobile applications. Plan and conduct major technical phases of significant projects by coordinating the efforts of technical support staff and the performance of assigned projects. Work with typically little supervision and assist with training junior software engineering staff, as needed. Perform full lifecycle development, including requirements, design, coding, testing, deployment, and software documentation. This position is located onsite at Patuxent River Naval Air Station, MD.
-5+ years of experience with a .NET programming language, including C# or VB
-5+ years of experience with developing Web applications
-Experience with full lifecycle development, including requirements, design, coding, testing, deployment, and software documentation
-Knowledge of Web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JS
-BA or BS degree in CS, CIS, MIS, CE, or Engineering
-5+ years of experience with relational databasetechnologies, including database administration tools and writing Standard Query Language (SQL) queries
-2+ years of experience with .NET MVC
-1+ years of experience with .NET Core
-Experience with Mobile application development
-Experience with using OpenShift and RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) for applications
-Experience with working in a DevOps construct and using source control products, including TFS or Git
-Knowledge of how to use docker containers
