Fiberutilities Group in Cedar Rapids is seeking a .NET developerresponsible for building .NET applications focusing on all aspects of the architecture; front-end interfaces, middle tier application logic, and backend database management. Your primary responsibility will be to design and develop these layers of our applications, and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is essential.

• 5+ years’ of development within .Net web framework

• Proficient in Entity Framework and MVC, C# and/or VB.NET, with a good knowledge of their ecosystem

• Proficient in HTML5, MVC, JavaScript, and jQuery

• Proficient working with Microsoft Azure and SQL Server

• Experience creating database schemas that represent and support business processes

• Experience implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests

• Experience using code versioning tools such as Git



• Associate or bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience

• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills                                 

• Proven knack for writing clean, readable, and easily maintainable code

• Understanding of fundamental design principles for building a scalable application

• Strong leadership qualities
