The .NET Applications Programmer will support the Army Human Resources Command (HRC) located at Fort Knox, KY. The scope of this effort is to provide a select range of IT services for specific activities within HRC. The IT services encompass all activities necessary to provide secure enterprise-wide systems sustainment, management, enhancement, development and integration services for the lifecycle administration and deployment functions. DSA will assist the HRC in the goal of meeting the vision of the Army G6 of a secure, standard based environment.
The candidate should possess the following experience:
Minimum 2 Years hands-on experience working with .NET Technologies (C#, ASP.NET, WebForms, MVC, WCF, Entity Framework)
Experience with .NET Design Patterns
Experience using modern UI technologies such as Angular and Bootstrap plus HTML5/CSS3
Experience with Oracle, SQL and/or other database technologies
Familiarity with architecture styles/API (REST, RPC)
Experience using version control tools including Git.
Experience working in an Agile development team.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work independently and to respond quickly to change
CompTIA Security+ Certification
Bachelors Degree, Associates or Technical School with 2 years experience
Desired experience includes the following:
Experience using a Continuous Integration tool (e.g., Jenkins)
Experience supporting large Army application development and sustainment efforts.
MCSD or MCP or MCSE or MCITP: Web Applications and/or Database certified professional
Prior experience supporting the Army Human Resources Command in Ft. Knox, KY
