Contribute to the formulation of a Business Plan in terms of objectives, operational activities and the needed resources for the own SBU, within the Planning & Control guidelines and DOCS's strategy and in consultation with the direct manager, providing insight to the direct/functional manager in the allocation of resources and the staffing of employees as well as the realisation of results/targets.
Design, optimise, manage and control contract staffing processes, share knowledge and ensure efficient use of financial and human resources taking the agreed Business Plan & Budget and procedures into account. The goal is to ensure operational excellence in terms of quality, flexibility and availability of Contract Placement services.
Manage and ensure effective and efficient, qualitative and quantitative contract staffing, in line with HR policies, guidelines on working conditions, safety and health, systems and budget. The goal is to support in attracting new contract staff and to make the pool of contract staff employees more employable, now and in the future.
Coach, monitor, assess and develop the skills and activities of contract staff employees, following the Training & Education budget and internal guidelines and procedures, in order to retain and motivate contract staff and successful cooperation between contract staff and client.
Develop, build and maintain relationships with existing clients, contract staff or other relevant stakeholders, within agreed communication lines, to support and monitor successful fulfilment of client's and contract staff's needs.
Recognise, investigate and create new business development opportunities by understanding client's and contract staff's needs and making use of their network, in line with DOCS's strategy, policies and staffing developments/needs, in order to strengthen the number of Contract Placement activities.
Administrate and monitor all relevant contract staff data in the personnel information system (concerning contracts, remuneration, timesheets, etc.) and other market, client and candidate information in the database, in accordance with internal guidelines and legal requirements (e.g.: working time regulations), in such way that relevant information is correct and available at all times to relevant stakeholders. AUTONOMY: Supports the activities of Operations Manager and works under limited supervision of the direct manager. Has the autonomy to differentiate in sequence of activities agreed in Business Plan. Defines and develops working procedures and contributes to the DOCS policy concerning Contract Placement in general. KNOW HOW: Experienced professional with broad experience within own industry/discipline segmentation and more than 6 years people management experience. Fully understands the business. Knows and is able to steer the multidisciplinary processes in national and/or international environments. Understands local and international conditions and circumstances. COMPLEXITY OF JOB: Steers and integrates one surveyable main process and needs to integrate this process with several others. Optimises own assigned process/area in close tuning with other processes, internally and/or externally. Policy defining within own industry/discipline. BUSINESS IMPACT: Supports realisation of budgeted number of CPM's/year. Attract, retain and motivate (European) contract staff pool. Responsible for setting up and developing univocal and consistent procedures to attract, retain and motivate contract staff. Scope: CPM's/year: 2500 - 6000 (shared responsibility)
