Responsibilities

  • Provides leadership, planning and direction to ensure business objectives and financial goals are achieved.
  • Effectively communicates performance results, business plans and resource needs to senior management.
  • Establishes divisional goals for team. Holds self and team accountable for timely completion of assignments and achieving expected results.
  • Understands and uses effective conflict resolution skills, e.g., identifies and resolves customer and staff concerns, discrepancies and disagreements
  • Partners with sales counterparts and provides input and direction to ensure teams use territory planning effectively to achieve profitable revenue growth.
  • Participates and partners with team members on customer meetings to promote revenue growth, cost containment and expansion of services with customers.
  • Oversee equipment management practices.
  • Drives performance and understanding of periodic audits and reviews within the Division to ensure proper practices are followed.
  • Coaches and assists team in creating vision and understanding role the team plays in executing the business strategy and practices.
  • Recruits, trains and develops employees. Provides cross- and lateral training, emphasizing continuous improvement and teamwork, and provides on-going feedback with focused action steps for areas of improvement.
  • Performs assessment evaluations to force rank team members and provides stretch assignments to those identified as high potential.
  • Oversees account receivables collection activities and process for the Division and provides updates, assistance and support for team as necessary. Holds district offices accountable for billing accuracy to meet required regulatory compliance.
  • Leads and supports continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Demonstrates the leadership to inspire others by modeling a positive commitment to the business, peers, other departments, direct reports, and clients.
  • Ensure timeliness of Division-wide performance appraisals.
  • Performs other assigned duties.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Characteristics Ability to perform under time constraints.

  • Strong financial acumen.
  • Ability to maintain communication with other departments within organization.
  • Willingness to strive for constant improvement of department efficiencies as well as utilization of financial systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Time management and organizational skills.
  • Educational Credentials and Experience Required 7 years management experience.
  • Prefer 5-7 years healthcare, hospital industry, medical equipment and services.
  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Healthcare experience preferred.
  • Business and financial management expertise to assist with account margin maintenance and contract management, including expertise in service performance metrics, labor analysis, expense analysis and service profitability.
  • Demonstrated excellent communication/presentation skills.
  • Profit and Loss (P&L) statement and budget management experience.
  • Demonstrated computer literacy
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays, as well as emergency off-hours as required.
  • Travel up to 50 -75%
  • Valid driver’s license.
