VISION: Expanding decentralized industry serving global markets. Company has more than tripled revenues in last decade through organic expansion and acquisitions. Company has IP technology/products and long term relationships with Fortune 500 clients. This is senior financial leadership and business partnering role supporting existing profit centers as well as business development. Be the hands-on Finance Director / Controller for multiple profit centers. Finance has a very high presence with the business and viewed as a key resource and influencer. Office is in the Deer Park-La Porte area.


OPPORTUNITY: Value-adding financial leadership role for $70M division with multiple profit centers throughout Mid-West and West. Contribute on strategic and tactical initiatives; lead all business administration for the group, and key on the following:

?        Analyze monthly trends in revenue and costs.

?        Develop alternative P&L statements for key customers and business initiatives

?        Communicate profitability of initiatives to key management.

?        Support new business development and account management on pricing, margins, and expense management

?        Provide insight and partner on process improvement initiatives across the group.

?        Assist in determining plans for capital resource needs.

?        Ensure adequate human resource plans are developed to meet business needs.

?        Ensure billing, collections, P/R, A/P and critical administrative functions are maintained in each SBU.

?        Consolidate month end data.

?        Prepare flashreports and forecasts.

?        Review month end journal entries for adequacy and documentation.

?        Prepare monthly metrics and present to executive leadership.

?        Assemble accruals on material items such as payroll data, revenue and other regionally specific items.

?        Team with risk management on contracts, insurance and workers compensation issue.

?        Work with local offices to standardize accounting procedures regionally and business wide.

?        Establish detailed budget for the group.

?        Assist in the development of policy and procedure.


REQUIREMENTS: CPA or MBA wanted. Seek a make-it-happen financial leader who wanted to bear hug the business and be a key driver and influencer as well as be hands-on. Must have Controller or Finance Director level experience within a decentralized business model (i.e. manufacturing; construction; environment, engineering or IT services). Must be willing to travel domestically 25% to 35%. NO RELOCATION OFFERED OR CONSIDERED. Must have demonstrated career advancement through promotion rather than switching employers.


REWARD: $125,000 to $145,000 plus 20% target bonus and long term incentives
