Beckman Coulter is a Danaher company, operating in two industries: Diagnostics and Life Sciences. 


Supervise a group of Field Service Engineers to ensure customer needs and expectations are met in a timely manner.  Oversee the installation and maintenance of instrumentation and systems in a laboratory environment; define needs of BCI personnel with regard to training and developmental needs; establishes goals to meet objectives; recommends hiring/firing/disciplinary decisions affecting employees; monitors operating budget; ensures Field Service activities comply with group standards and procedures; communicate Field Service issues to Regional management.  Primary focus is on service metrics to include localized escalation, engineer technical mentoring and daily activities such as PM’s, MODs and balancing workload. 



-Current, cleandriver’s license


-Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and industry specific applications


-Ability to communicate effectively with team members, management, and customers


-Ability to work independently, with minimal direct supervision


-Demonstrated commitment to safety


-Demonstrated track record of reliability, punctuality, and productivity


-Ability to lead a team


-Ability to adapt and comply with Company/Client requirements


-Ability to work in a rapidly changing, multi-cultural environment


-Has a desire to learn and develop within the role


-Bachelor’s degree with 9 plus years or Master’s degree with 7 plus years
