Job Summary:
The District Sales Territory Manager (Neurosurgery) is a key role within the Natus Neurology division, not only for our company but also for the lives of the patients and hospital staff we touch through our products.   Through the business relationships you create and maintain, you'll provide high quality products Neurosurgeons need to improve intra-operative and post-operative care to the patients they serve.  You'll specialize in selling surgical products, monitoring products as well as disposable support products.
 
In this job, you will:
•Forecast and drive your territory's business by meeting or exceeding your monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals.
•Generate new sales leads through your effective prospecting efforts in your territory as well as maintain and enhance your relationships with your existing customers.
•Work closely with the Clinical Sales Specialists to educate and follow up with Heads of Surgery, Medical Doctors, Surgeons and other medical staff members on the operation, utilization and application of our product lines.
•Get to work closely with your customers in the operating room during medical procedures.
•Schedule and conduct personalized sales demonstrations to the MD and Clinical market within assigned territory.
•Keep track of your detailed pipeline activity through Siebel CRM.
•You will travel a lot (75%-80% including air travel) because face time with your customers is important to you as are your hours spent attending local and national tradeshows.
 
 Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university required, preferably with a health sciences or marketing focus.
•Minimum 5 years' sales experience required with medical capital and/or medical product sales experience strongly preferred.
•Working knowledge of operating room standard procedures and protocols, experience in Neurosurgical specialties is a strong plus.
•Strong organizational, presentation and communication skills.
•Previous working experience with Siebel or other CRM programs.
•Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and adequate insurance coverage required.
