District Sales Manager - Construction Industry - WA #3746
Location Fife Washington
The District Sales Manager is responsible for driving overall sales growth by coaching, mentoring and managing sales employees in the District Office, including Inside and Outside Sales Representatives and Sales Support staff.
Build and maintain strong sales relationships with current and prospective customers.
Manage performance of the district sales force, including analysis and recommendations to improve sales performance, including travel awareness, encouraging quote follow up, and interactions that broaden and deepen relationships.
Oversee and manage district office sales support, including involvement in hiring decisions, as well as overall knowledge/validation of ERP data as tied with business, as well as order management, and vendor invoice/payment management.
Awareness of the district's annual budget, monitoring SG&A, challenging team to be cost conscious
Cultivate relationships between district sales office and other business units - GEO, Business Development, Corporate, Operations, etc.
Responsible for A/R, collections and DSO.
Market awareness and entrepreneurial vision within the district, ability and willingness to gather and communicate market information across the company, including fellow DSMs, Management Team, Operations and the rest of the Sales Force.

Volume in tons
A/R and DSO
Total GP and GP $/Ton
Stock Inventory Turnover
Prebilled Invoices paid
Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
3-7years related salesexperience - construction industry preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
