As Softchoice’s District Sales Manager for Dallas, your job is to create opportunity in a rapidly changing industry, taking back control of the sales conversation and delivering customer experiences that build true loyalty. With an ambitious growth target in Softchoice’s sights, you play an instrumental role in building the team, capacity and differentiated services to get us there. So how will you do it?

Engaging Customers Differently: Our sales teams don’t talk, act or sell like other sales teams. We embrace an insight-led sales approach, challenging the status quo with deep industry knowledge, customer insights and tact to reveal to customers what they truly need, not just what they want. Your job is to build that team, crystallizing their focus on business outcomes and empowering them to go against the grain and inspire our customers to do what is best.

Active Leadership: Your time is divided between fostering fruitful relationships with partners to increase growth, and showing leadership as an involved, energetic mentor to your team. You show by your actions that the most important thing isn’t your own success — but that of your employees, your partners and your customers.

Growth and Loyalty: You hit ambitious sales targets and ensure we are delivering excellent customer experiences, to drive growth and loyalty in your district. From procurement, to professional services, you deliver Softchoice’s wide range of solutions and assessments as customized offerings, to wow customers and maximize returns.

Experience and Skills:

  • Track record of having significant impact on customers and a history of increasing responsibilities
  • An insatiable curiosity and drive to learn about your customers, your industry and your team
  • Exceptional communications skills, written and verbal, enabling you to teach the customer, tailor insights and take control of the sale
  • An independent spirit and an entrepreneurial drive
  • 5+ years in sales people management within the technology industry, preferably in B2B
  • Strong Enterprise and Mid-Market experience, selling a breadth of services and solutions
  • A University degree, hopefully with a business focus
