POSITION SUMMARY:
Lead and develop ship management teams to achieve increased profit and volume levels while maintaining the highest levels of quality and service.  Ensure flawless execution of all store and guest related initiatives while ensuring adherence to all Corporate and Client policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Partner withSalesManagers to:

  • Review current revenue results and develop action plans for improvement
  • Develop annual sales forecasts and budgets
  • Analyze Sales/Gross Margin/Expenses at district and ship level
  • Support development of future leaders and effectively coach teams remotely
  • Responsible for succession planning for area in partnership with HR
  • Ensure implementation and execution of “Best Practices” related to driving sales
  • Develop and review promotional activities and special events based on business trends and guest demographics
  • Partner with Asset Prevention specialist on driving profit through shrink reduction
  • Work withSales Manager and on board business partners to identify opportunities and drive Guest Service Ratings
  • Support Sales Managers in building and sustaining onboard relationships with cruise line staff, officers & crew
  • Build and sustain productive relations with Merchandising and Planning/Distribution teams on assortment changes, merchandising and pricing strategies, and maintaining ‘in stock’ levels


Job Requirements : JOB SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Demonstrated ability to increase revenue and profitability
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in English is a must. Additional languages such as Spanish, Italian, French, and German a plus
  • Ability to travel extensively (50%) and work holidays and weekends

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 5years of multi-unit retail management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent
