We are expanding into Louisville, KY and need an experienced person to head up our operations at this new location.
You should have good general knowledge of new home construction, and some window and door installation experience in particular. We will offer you training, but you should be familiar with home building industry best practices.
You will wear several hats, at least at this initial stage. As we grow, we will add more people who will take on some of your responsibilities, but initially you will be asked to perform several important duties. These include:
1. Service on the installed base of windows and doors. This will include residential glass replacement, parts replacement, and functionality repairs to quality windows and doors.
2. Sales to builders of single family home. You'll need to be proactive searching out and soliciting prospects, providing competitive bids and following through on orders with great customer service.
3. Operations. You'll supervise our warehouse, receive deliveries of windows and doors, and manage our installation crew and work schedule.
4. Other duties as necessary. You'll need a "make it happen" and "get it done" attitude that thrives on meeting challenges, whatever the situation requires.
Ideally, you're working in construction, or at a building supply company. You'd rather work for a small company than a big corporation. You take ownership of your work. And you have an easy-going personality that adapts to constantly changing conditions.
You should be current with computer skills, familiar with MS Office, and social media like Linked In.
