SUMMARY

The Director, Workplace Service & Operations – US Portfolio, is a key leader in the delivery of Real Estate & Workplace Solutions (REWS) programs across the RealPage global portfolio. This position is responsible for directing and overseeing the delivery of workplace service and operations at RealPage’s corporate headquarters as well as multiple field locations within the US. This position will also be responsible for developing and implementing global Physical Security/Life Safety programs across the RealPage enterprise, working with both US and international real estate and corporate departments. The Director will work closely with organizational leadership, peer international portfolio leaders, departmental Centers of Excellence (COE) leaders, staff and vendors to deliver industry leading real estate and workplace programs that effectively support RealPage employees, clients and guests. Applicants should be comfortable working within a matrix organization that requires a high level of flexibility, team collaboration, and effective leadership practices with the ability to deliver high profile programs. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES

The Director has financial, team management and execution responsibilities for the areas they are responsible for within their portfolio. Service areas include:

  • Property Management/Building Operations
  • Physical Security– US operational delivery / global COE strategy Life Safety Programs
  • Food & Beverage Programs
  • Fitness Center Operations
  • Mail, Shipping & Receiving
  • Janitorial The Director is also responsible for partnering with / or supporting peer COE leads in the integration and/or delivery of the following activities
  • Construction projects
  • Real estate lease transactions
  • New business acquisition integrations
  • Site decommissioning
  • Space & furniture management The Director may interact frequently with employees / customers / clients to maintain and strengthen relationships and to ensure work/deliverables meet expectations.

QUALIFICATIONS/KEY COMPETENCIES

  • Twelve to fifteen years’ experience leading high performance corporate real estate teams
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Ability to work in a matrix organizational model
  • Superior customer service skills and orientation
  • Ability to maintain professionalism at all times under stressful situations
  • Ability to plan and manage work under time constraints
  • Ability to multitask and work without direct supervision
  • Excellent MS Office, and possess strong written, verbal and people skills
  • Strong organizational skills and collaborative style
  • Some travel required
